BUET Admission 2022: Date and Time
The 1st step of Honours Admission for Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) for the session 2021-22 going to start on June 4, 2022. This year the admission test will be taken in two steps. The final examination will take place on June 18 for those who have passed on the primary step. The information has declared in the notification on the official website of BUET on Saturday, April 16, 2022.
As per notice of BUET Admission 2022, the online application has been started today through the official website. The application will end on April 25, 2022, at 03:00 PM. But, candidates can pay the application fee till April 26, 2022, at 03:00 PM.
Admission Fee for the session 2021-2022
Interested can eligible students have to pay 1000 Taka for pre-selection and basic admission in group ‘A’ and in group ‘B’ is 1,200 Taka as the application fee. Candidates will have to pay the fee through the mobile banking system.
Admission Test Date
According to the admission notice, the preliminary admission test for the sessions 2021-22 will be taken on June 14, 2022. The preliminary process will take on two steps this year. A total of 100 MCQ exams will be taken for groups ‘A’ and ‘B’.
The first shift admission test will start at 10:00 AM and the second shift admission test will start at 03:00 PM.
The negative mark will be implemented this year like the previous years. Apart from this, the 25 percent mark will be deducted from the number obtained for each incorrect answer.
The final admission test will take place on June 18, 2022. For this, the names of eligible candidates for the final admission test will be announced on June 11, 2022. After that, the list of selected and waiting candidates will be published on July 8, 2022.
BUET Admission 2022: How to submit the application
- Step 1) In the very first step, you will have to tap on three-dot in the mobile internet browser app or tap on + sign from Computer to open a new tap.
- Step 2) On the new tap, you have to write the official address of the BUET into the new tap. The official URL is http://ugadmission.buet.ac.bd/
- Step 3) Just copy or type the URL and hit the enter button on the keyboard. This will redirect to the main page of Open University.
- Step 4) When you reached the home page, you will have to find out the “apply” button on the page.
- Step 5) Simply click on the “apply” button and it will move you to the admission form page.
- Step 6) Once you get the admission server page, just tap on “BUET Admission 2022”. Then, the admission server will load on your device.
- Step 7) Now, write your SSC Roll and passing year in the desired fields.
- Step 8) Similarly, select “HSC Board Name”, type Roll Number and select the passing year of the HSC Exam.
- Step 9) Finally, select the group and tap on the “Submit” button to complete the online application.
