Diesel, Petrol, Octane Price August 2022 in Bangladesh: The Price of Fuel Oil has increased. Bangladesh Ministry of Power, Energy, and Mineral Resources (MPEMR) announced the increase in the prices of diesel, petrol, kerosene, and octane on Friday (August 5) night.
The price has increased by 34 Taka per liter of diesel, 34 Taka per liter of kerosene, 46 Taka per liter of octane, and 44 Taka per liter of petrol. After the price increase, diesel will be bought at 114 Taka per liter, kerosene at 114 Taka, octane at 135 Taka, and petrol at130 Taka per liter.
Earlier, the retail price at the consumer level was 80 Taka per liter of diesel, 80 Taka for kerosene, 89 Taka for octane, and 86 Taka for petrol before increasing the Price.
The Ministry of Electricity, Energy and Mineral Resources (MPEMR) declared that the new price will be effective after Friday, 12:00 PM. It is also mentioned that this retail price will be maintained at the consumer level within 40 km of the depot.
Earlier, the government increased the price of diesel and kerosene by 15 Taka, from 65 Taka to Tk 80 per liter from November 4, 2021. But, the prices of octane and petrol remained unchanged at this time.
