The Pubg LAN Event was held on July 19, 2022, and police arrested 108 players from Chuadanga after the raid today at 12:15 PM.
At least 108 has arrested from Chuadanga for participate in the PUBG Game. The players from the different districts including Dhaka, Narayanganj, and Cox’s Bazar appeared on the Pubg LAN Event Chuadanga to participate in the PUBG tournament at the community center of the Shohortoli Daulatdia area.
Bangladesh Police have raided the community center on the basis of secret information and arrested youth and young people from there. Most of them are students from different schools and colleges.
Mahabub, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Chuadanga Sadar Police Station said that the PUBG contestants were arrested from the second-floor hall of a building based on a tip-off.
As per the report, about 24 adults have been sentenced to 2 to 5 days of Imprisonment without labor in a mobile court. After that, those Pubg players under 18 years of age who participated in the tournament were taken on bond and handed over to their families.
Mobile Court Judge Sadar Upazila Executive Officer Shamim Bhuiyan told the media that the youth is getting addicted to gambling through the mobile game PUBG, Free Fire, and other online games.

Incidentally, Bangladesh High Court has directed to ban all harmful online games including PUBG, and Free-Fire from all online platforms in Bangladesh. If anyone plays those games can be also considered as crimes.
