Dhaka University (DU) has sold admission forms worth 29 Crore and 3 Lakh 41 Thousand Taka for DU 1st Year Admission Online application for the academic year 2021-2022. Last Tuesday (May 10, 2022) night, the online application was ended for admission in the first year of graduation from Dhaka University.
As per the news, 2 lakh 90 thousand and 341 forms have been sold in five units against 6 thousand 35 seats. This year, the university authorities have increased the fee of admission forms. So this year the interested candidates have submitted the application with Tk 1,000 as the application fee where 956.50 Taka for the admission test, the online service charge 30 Taka, and 13.50 Taka for the service charge of the Payment method.
Dhaka University has expenses 1 crore 26 lakh 29 thousand 733 from Tk 29 crore 3 lakh 41 thousand for the online service charge and bank payment service charge. As a result, the income of Dhaka University has been 27 crores 77 lakh 11 thousand 176 Taka after the sale of admission forms.
According to the latest information received from the central admission office of the DU, about 1 lakh 15 thousand 710 people have applied for 1 thousand 851 seats in the ‘A’ unit. Besides, 58 thousand and 551 candidates against 1,778 seats in the ‘B’ unit, 30 thousand 693 candidates in C Unit, 78 thousand and 29 candidates in D Unit, and 7 thousand 357 candidates applied in the E Unit.
