Tejgaon, Dhaka: The Tejgaon Division of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DB) has arrested an officer of the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE) for the connection with the leak of DSHE Exam Question Papers. The officer’s name is Chandra Shekhar Halder (Milton).
He was arrested from Dhaka on Sunday (July 24, 2022) night. Arrested Milton education cadre officer of the 31st BCS.

He said that several persons were arrested on the charge of leaking questions paper of various government recruitment examinations. The arrested person said the name of DSHE officer Chandra Shekhar Halder (Milton) during the interrogation. After verifying the information provided by them, we have found that he is connected with this. After that, we arrested him.
Detective officials said that the written exam was held on May 13, 2022, to recruit 513 posts in the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE). Based on the Detective information, a job aspirant named Suman Jowardar was arrested from Eden College Center with the answer to the DSHE Exam Question paper during the examination.
They found that answers to 70 MCQ questions were written on the back side of his admit card. Later, Saiful Islam, a mathematics teacher at Khepupara Secondary Girls’ School in Patuakhali, was arrested based on the information given by Sumon Jowardar. After one day of the remand, they admitted to leaking the question before the exam.
Later, Patuakhali Government College lecturer Rashedul, DSHE’s senior assistant Ahsan Habib and office assistant Naushad were arrested on the basis of the information given by Saiful Islam and Sumon. A week after this incident, DSHE canceled the recruitment test.

According to Detective officials, the DSHE Question Paper was leaked by DSHE officer Milton. He was in charge of coordinating the Eden College center for that recruitment test. He took a picture of the question paper and sent it to Saiful via WhatsApp when he went to the exam center with questions from the DSHE Office.
