Previously, the eighth edition of BPL (Bangabandhu Bangladesh Premier League T20) was initially scheduled to start from March 2021. But, the date was postponed due to the Corona Virus issue across the country.
Finally, BPL 2022 has been rescheduled to start from January 21 to February 18, 2022. Yesterday (January 12, 2022), Bangladesh Cricket Board – BCB declared the schedule of the 8th edition of BPL. The first match of the BPL is set to begin at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka between Chattogram Challengers and Fortune Barishal on January 21.
