GP Fixes Minimum Recharge at 20 Taka

Grameenphone – GP has fixed the minimum recharge rate of 20 Taka for Prepaid and Postpaid instead of 10 Taka. From now, customers will not be able to recharge 10 Taka.

On Friday (July 1, 2022), the telecom operator declared the GP New Recharge Rate 20 Taka as the minimum rate through SMS. As a result, customers have to recharge a minimum of Tk20 where it was Tk10. But, customers can still recharge Tk16 and Tk14 as minute packs, said in the SMS.

Grameenphone said that we have taken the decision as part of service facilitation.

Previously, the minimum recharge rate was 10 Taka.

Earlier, Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) has a ban on the new sale of GP New SIMs on June 29, 2022, due to failing to provide quality services of voice calls and internet speed.
