SSC, HSC Exam 2022 likely in June-July following short syllabus

SSC, HSC Exam 2022 News Update: The SSC and Equivalent, HSC, and Equivalent exams are to be held in June-July 2022 following the short syllabus. The provable date has been announced by Education Minister Dipu Moni on Monday, January 10, 2022.

Education Minister made the announcement during a press conference at the Secretariat.

Dipu Moni also said that the Educational Institutions (Schools and Colleges) are not going to be shut down right now, rather the vaccination process will be strengthened.

“As per our record, a large number of the students have been vaccinated already. We hope to give the vaccine to all the students at least the first dose by this month,” said the Education Minister.

She also added that as most of the university’s teachers and students are already vaccinated. As a result, there is no need to shut down in-person classes at universities. Shutting down in-person classes at universities will not be logical. “About 95% of students of public and private universities are vaccinated,” Education Minister Dipu Moni said.

Earlier on Sunday 9 January, the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE) issued an office order asking the authorities concerned to complete the vaccination process for all students aged 12-18 years by that time.

As per the official notice, only the vaccinated students will be able to attend in-person classes at schools and colleges from 15 January. The students won’t able to attend the class if they do not take the vaccine within January 15.

Later in the day, the NATC (National Technical Advisory Committee) has suggested the government keep open educational institutions.
