Now, Grameenphone users can easily able to use Facebook Text Only Features without Data Charge. If the user doesn’t have internet packages or doesn’t have a balance on the account, they can use this feature without interruption.

For this, Grameenphone started this system in Bangladesh in partnership with Facebook Meta. With this, Grameenphone will help digital inclusion by ensuring connectivity and accessibility by launching Text Only Facebook and Discover in Bangladesh.

Text Only means, just text no image or videos like the previous FreeBasics. Users can use Facebook, Message even if they don’t have an internet pack on their phone. They can use this feature until the next recharge.
