Abu Taleb MD. Moazzem Hossain said the online application period for the first phase has been extended till January 16 and 17. Students can submit their online admission forms during this period.
He said the application was started on January 8, 2022. About 15 lakh 26 thousand 750 students have been submitted the application till January 15, 2022. Students are advised to choose at least 5 colleges and a maximum of 10 colleges while submitting the online application.
As a result, they have selected 72 lakh 8 thousand 699 colleges for admission. Since about 20 lakh students have passed in SSC Exam-2021, another 1 lakh applications may be submitted in two more days. It is also believed that about 10,000 GPA-5 holders have not applied for admission.
However, this time a record number of applications have been received. Even then, two more days have been extended to create more opportunities to apply. Of these, about 500 fake applications were received but we have already resolved those applications.
